Music launch of 'Mary Kom'

Music launch of the movie 'Mary Kom' was a grand event. The special guest was none other than Mary Kom, on whose life the movie is based. Mary came with her husband Onler Kom.
Priyanka, who was her usual energetic self, crooned for the 'Lori' number from the film. Mary Kom also sang for the 'Aaj Main oopar' number from 'Khamoshi'. Priyanka also made the event more special for Mary Kom by having her husband say 'I love you' to her on stage, leaving the Olympics medalist blushing away.

Also seen is producer Sanjay Leela Bhansali along with his mom, and director Omung Kumar. The film is all set to release on September 5th.

Not so difficult to replicate Mary because she is an open book..priyanka said. We followed her and replicated her life exactly as she has said. She has seen the film. I think creative liberty is not a bad thing... It is about how we take the scene ahead. She (Mary) has seen it and loved it," Omung told reporters at the music launch of the film.

Director Omung Kumar, who is looking forward to the release of 'Mary Kom', says he has tried to keep the story real despite taking creative liberty to depict the boxing champion's life story on celluloid.
Priyanka who essays the role of Mary in the film said the Manipur boxer fancied a song and dance in the movie.

"We have dramatized the romance and singing and she (Mary) enjoys it. She asked me if I am dancing in the film and I said people will kill me if I dance. She said she is a good dancer. So can you imagine Mary Kom doing 'Desi Girl' (popular track from 'Dostana').. That is what she wanted me to do in the film," Priyanka said.The makers have portrayed several incidents that happened to Mary exactly the way she narrated them to the writers.

"We have tried to bring 10-12 years of her (Mary) life on screen within two hours and within that we have taken few liberties. But otherwise the film is a close depiction of her life," Priyanka said.

The film is for release on September 5.

Shahrukh Khan was present at Ekkees Topon Ki Salaami Movie Trailer launch.

Shahrukh Khan was present at 21 Topon Ki Salaami Movie Trailer launch. Which is being produced by Nautanki Films Pvt. Ltd.  This is the political comedy drama film is coming on the floor on 10^th oct and stars Anupam Kher in the main role. Anupam whose dying wish is to have a martyr's last honour. So his 2 sons set for a mission to fulfill father's last wish. SRK also spoke about his relationship with his son. 

SRK said that he tries a lot to make his kids share things with him, but also said that after a certain age the gap builds which is difficult to fill. I really inspired from Anupam Kher with whom I played as his son in DDLJ. while talking about children  "Whatever they do in their lives, when they come back they, I don't them to come with a fear on what my dad will say or ask me."

  If he would like to give 21 topon ki salaami to real life stars said, "There are many talented superstars in bollywood who deserve 21 Topon Ki Salaami like Irrfan Khan. We have grown up seeing many stars like Anupam Kher who should get 21 Topon Ki Salaami." On asked on why SRK doesn't opt for such roles played by Irrfan, the entertainer replied, "If I do such kind of movies then there will be monotony. We do our kind of movies and they do theirs. 

There is a variety of movies and if all do one type of genre then were will entertainment." The film has been written by Rahil Qazi, who was the screenplay writer of Do Dooni Chaar. 21 Topon Ki Salaami which is also called Ekkees Topon Ki Salaami is shot in Mumbai and Bhopal, the film will be helmed by Ravindra Gautam. Ekkees Topon Ki Salaami also features Divyendu Sharma (of Pyaar Ka Punchnama & Chashme Baddoor fame), Manu Rishi (Oye Lucky! Lucky Oye!) Aditi sharma (Mausam & Ladies vs Ricky Bahl) and Rajesh Sharma (Special 26) & Neha Dhupia in a special cameo for their first film. The movie has been directed by Ravindra Gautam of Madhubala fame. SRK's Upcoming film Happy New Year. so he is excited about it .  

Shahrukh Khan at the Promotion of "Mad About Dance"

Shahrukh Khan is an actor who  encouraging new talent. He had promised actor Saahil Prem, the new talent in B-town, Amrit Maghera and Saahil Prem are the lead actors of MAD.  shahrukh would help and promote his upcoming film Mad About Dance (MAD). Shahrukh Khan today unveiled the Mad About Dance application and spoke in length about the movie and especially about his Happy New Year.

Shahrukh Khan when quizzed about his Happy New Year said, " It is also about dance. I like the trailer of Happy New Year and it has come out really well. When I go abroad people tell me Bollywood is about dance and music. That's why we have tried something new in Happy New Year." "I'm excited about Happy New Year trailer launch and not nervous." Happy New Year trailer is going to be out on August 14. I believe in doing the best and leaving the rest," Just follow your dream! SRK said.
